1. What COLD AC GUY is

COLD AC GUY ("we," "us") operates an online cost-estimating and referral service for heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) work. We are not a contractor. We do not perform, supervise, arrange, or guarantee any HVAC, electrical, or installation work, and we are not a party to any agreement you enter with a service professional. We simply provide an informational cost estimate and, at your request, connect you with independent, licensed local professionals.

2. Estimates are not quotes

Any price shown by our tool is an informational estimate of typical AC-replacement costs in your area, based on the details you provide and regional averages. It is not a price quote, bid, or binding offer, and it does not come from a contractor. Your actual price is set solely by the independent licensed contractor after an on-site evaluation and may be higher or lower.

3. The service professionals are independent

Professionals reachable through COLD AC GUY are independent third parties, not our employees or agents, and we are not their agent. We do not control, and are not responsible for, their work, pricing, licensing, conduct, or any agreement between you and them. You are responsible for verifying a professional's license, insurance, and qualifications before hiring, and for your own decisions. We do not endorse or guarantee any professional or their work.

4. Communications consent

If you submit a request and provide a phone number and consent, you authorize COLD AC GUY and the matched professionals to contact you (including by phone, text, and automated or prerecorded calls/messages) about your project, as described at the point of submission. Consent is not a condition of receiving an estimate. You may opt out at any time.

5. No warranty

The service and all estimates are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or results. We do not warrant that any estimate will match the price you are ultimately charged.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, COLD AC GUY is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts, omissions, work, or pricing of any service professional. Your use of the service is at your own risk.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
