Most accessory pages either hype junk or hide the drawbacks. We tell you what a product actually does, where it falls short, and what it costs to own — before it hits your cart.
The rules — and what they mean for you
- We're not your installer — or your store. We explain the fit, link the verified product on Amazon (Amazon sells and ships it), and tell you when to bring in a licensed HVAC contractor. The split keeps the incentives clean.
- Every product earns its page. Safety listing, sizing logic, install notes, ownership cost — or it doesn't get listed.
- What it won't do, up front. If a product doesn't fit your setup — an inverter condenser and a soft starter, say — the page tells you to keep your money.
- Contested claims get both sides. Where the trade argues (UV "kill rates," ionizers), we lay out the argument instead of pretending it isn't there.
